Allemand (Allemagne) In den 1980er Jahren, als das Stadttheater abgerissen werden sollte, entstand das Vorhaben, den öffentlichen Lesebereich vom historischen Bestand zu trennen und die Bibliothek in das Gebäude des ehemaligen Theaters zu verlegen. Der Umzug des zeitgenössischen Bestands erfolgte zwischen 1989 und 1990 in einen eigens dafür konzipierten Raum, wobei durch die Installation von Originalkulissen an das Theater erinnert wurde.

Français (France) Dans les années 1980, le théâtre municipal étant voué à la démolition, naît le projet de séparer la lecture publique du fonds ancien et de transférer la bibliothèque dans le bâtiment de l'ancien théâtre. Le transfert du fonds contemporain s'effectue entre 1989-1990 dans un lien conçu à cet effet, tout en évoquant le souvenir du théâtre par l'installation de décors d'origine.

De verhuizing van de hedendaagse collectie vond plaats tussen 1989 en 1990 naar een speciaal voor dit doel ontworpen ruimte, waarbij de herinnering aan het theater werd levend gehouden door de installatie van originele decorstukken.
