Italien (Italie) Laureato alla Scuola Nazionale Superiore di Fotografia, sono sempre stato attratto dalle storie legate al corpo umano. Al centro della mia creazione, cerco soggetti che mettano in scena la nostra anatomia. In questo caso, si tratta della Festa dell’Orso, un’antichissima tradizione carnevalesca dell’Haut-Vallespir, nei PireneiOrientali, celebrata a febbraio in occasione della Candelora. La tradizione vede protagonisti uomini travestiti con una pelle d’orso, che percorrono le strade con l’intenzione di rapire una giovane pastorella. I cacciatori si lanciano allora al loro inseguimento, li catturano e li conducono nella piazza del paese. Dopo essere stati rasati con l’aiuto di un’ascia, gli orsi si trasformano in esseri umani. La Festa dell’Orso è stata inserita nel patrimonio culturale immateriale dell’UNESCO dal 2022.
Allemand (Allemagne) Als Absolvent der École nationale supérieure de la photographie haben mich Geschichten rund um den menschlichen Körper schon immer fasziniert. Im Mittelpunkt meines künstlerischen Schaffens stehen Themen, die unsere Anatomie in den Vordergrund rücken. Hier geht es um das „Fest des Bären“, eine sehr alte Karnevalstradition aus dem Haut-Vallespir in den PyrenäenE9es-Orientales, die im Februar rund um den Lichtmess-Tag gefeiert wird. Dabei ziehen Männer, die mit Bärenfellen verkleidet sind, durch die Straßen, um eine junge Hirtin zu entführen. Die Jäger nehmen daraufhin die Verfolgung auf, fangen sie ein und führen sie auf den Dorfplatz. Nachdem sie mit einer Axt „geschoren“ wurden, verwandeln sich die Bären in Menschen. Das Bärenfest ist seit 2022 Teil des immateriellen Kulturerbes der UNESCO.
Anglais A graduate of the national school of photography, I have always been drawn to stories related to the human body. At the core of my creation, I seek subjects that showcase our anatomy. Here, it is about the Bear Festival, a very ancient carnival tradition of Haut-Vallespir, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, celebrated in February around Candlemas. It features men dressed in bear skins, roaming the streets with the intention of abducting a young shepherdess. Hunters then chase after them, capture them, and bring them to the village square. After being shaved, with the help of an axe, the bears transform into human beings. The Bear Festival has been inscribed in the intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO since 2022.
Espagnol Como titulado por la Escuela Nacional Superior de Fotografía, siempre me han atraído las historias relacionadas con el cuerpo humano. En el centro de mi creación, busco temas que pongan en escena nuestra anatomía. En este caso, se trata de la fiesta del Oso, una tradición carnavalesca muy antigua del Haut-Vallespir, en los PirineosOrientales, que se celebra en febrero en torno a la Candelaria. En ella participan hombres ataviados con pieles de oso, que recorren las calles con la intención de secuestrar a una joven pastora. Los cazadores se lanzan entonces a su persecución, los capturan y los conducen a la plaza del pueblo. Tras ser afeitados con un hacha, los osos se transforman en seres humanos. La fiesta del Oso forma parte del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la UNESCO desde 2022.
Français (France) Diplômé de l’École nationale supérieure de la photographie, j’ai toujours été attiré par les récits liés au corps humain. Au cœur de ma création, je recherche des sujets qui mettent en scène notre anatomie. Ici, il s’agit de la fête de l’Ours, une très ancienne tradition carnavalesque du Haut-Vallespir, dans les Pyrénées-Orientales, célébrée en février autour de la Chandeleur. Elle met en scène des hommes revêtus d’une peau d’ours, parcourant les rues avec l’intention d’enlever une jeune bergère. Les chasseurs se lancent alors à leur poursuite, les capturent et les conduisent sur la place du village. Après avoir été rasés, à l’aide d’une hache, les ours se transforment en êtres humains. La fête de l’Ours est inscrite au patrimoine culturel immatériel de l’UNESCO depuis 2022.
Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Als afgestudeerde van de École nationale supérieure de la photographie heb ik me altijd aangetrokken gevoeld tot verhalen die verband houden met het menselijk lichaam. In mijn werk zoek ik naar onderwerpen die onze anatomie in beeld brengen. Hier gaat het om het Feest van de Beer, een zeer oude carnavalstraditie uit de Haut-Vallespir, in de Pyr%E9n%E9es-Orientales, die in februari rond Maria-Lichtmis wordt gevierd. Tijdens dit feest trekken mannen, gehuld in een berenhuid, door de straten met de bedoeling een jonge herderin te ontvoeren. De jagers zetten dan de achtervolging in, vangen hen en brengen hen naar het dorpsplein. Nadat ze met een bijl zijn geschoren, veranderen de beren in mensen. Het Berenfeest staat sinds 2022 op de lijst van immaterieel cultureel erfgoed van UNESCO.
