The diva will be reincarnated in a unique concert in France by singer Belinda DAVIDS, one of the few contemporary singers to possess the 4 octave range required to interpret WHITNEY HOUSTON?s songs.
Born in 1976, Belinda DAVIDS began her life as a performer in the small coastal town of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where she spent most of her time in church singing gospel songs.
Belinda DAVIDS discovered her future idol on the song "Hold Me", a song that would mark her with its gospel-influenced musical style and lyrics that resonated with her family values and modest background. It was a real revelation for Belinda DAVIDS, who would practice singing Whitney HOUSTON at every opportunity, at family gatherings, singing competitions and even on the street.
In 2013, fate knocked on her door. John Van Grinsven, creator and producer of "The Greatest Love of All" on Showtime Australia, launched a series of worldwide auditions to find the right singer to reincarnate WHITNEY HOUSTON in his new production, and Belinda DAVIDS won the lead role from over 15,000 applicants.
In 2017, Belinda DAVIDS reached new heights when she won the BBC?s ?Even Better Than the Real Thing? show, hosted by Paddy McGuinness. There, she gave a stunning rendition of "I Will Always Love You?", which she later performed at Fox TV's Apollo Theater, hosted by Steve Harvey.
These two performances left a lasting impression on audiences, and were the starting point of a dazzling career followed by over 200 concerts worldwide.
