Inspirés par des groupes comme The Smiths, les garçons jouent des morceaux courts et lancinants. Les 4 musiciens venus d’univers plus ou moins voisins (rock british, folk, groove) se retrouvent autour d’une pop tendue et racée. Avec Lost Through Love, Vertical dévoile un second album à la fois introspectif et aérien. Porté par une écriture sensible et des textures sonores soignées, le groupe poursuit sa recherche d’équilibre entre énergie et émotion. Les chansons se déploient dans une atmosphère cinématique, mêlant rythmes organiques et arrangements amples.
