Allemand (Allemagne) Während des Trocknungsprozesses poliere ich das Stück (handgefertigt mithilfe der Colombi-Technik). Nach dem ersten Brand lege ich eine Porzellanunterlage unter die Glasur, die verhindert, dass die Glasur an dem Stück haften bleibt. Während des Brandes wird die Glasur auf die Unterschicht aufgetragen, die dann an dem Werkstück haftet. Nach dem Brennen kann ich die Unterschicht und die Glasur entfernen und so meine Dekore kreieren. Der zweite Brand findet in einem Holzofen statt, ebenso wie das Räuchern.
Anglais I polish the piece (handmade using the colombin technique) during the drying process. After a first firing, I put a porcelain undercoat under the glaze which prevents it from sticking to the piece. During the firing process the glaze sits on top of the underlay and adheres to the piece. After firing I can remove the underglaze and the glaze and create my own designs. The second firing is done in a wood-fired kiln as well as the smoking.
Français (France) Je polis la pièce (faite à la main en utilisant la technique du colombin) pendant le processus de séchage. Après une première cuisson, je pose une sous-couche de porcelaine sous l'émail qui empêche celui-ci de s'accrocher sur la pièce. Pendant la cuisson l'émail font sur la sous-couche à laquelle adhère à la pièce. Après cuisson je peux enlever la sous-couche et l'émail et ainsi je crée mes décor. La deuxième cuisson se fait dans un four à bois ainsi que l'enfumage.
Espagnol Durante el proceso de secado, pulo la pieza (hecha a mano con la técnica de la colombina). Después de una primera cocción, pongo una capa inferior de porcelana bajo el esmalte que evita que éste se pegue a la pieza. Durante el proceso de cocción, el esmalte se asienta sobre la capa inferior y se adhiere a la pieza. Después de la cocción, puedo retirar el subesmalte y el esmalte y crear mis propios diseños. La segunda cocción se realiza en un horno de leña al igual que el ahumado.
Italien (Italie) Durante il processo di asciugatura, il pezzo (realizzato a mano con la tecnica della colombina) viene lucidato. Dopo una prima cottura, metto sotto lo smalto un sottofondo di porcellana che impedisce allo smalto di attaccarsi al pezzo. Durante il processo di cottura, lo smalto si adagia sul sottofondo e aderisce al pezzo. Dopo la cottura posso rimuovere il sottosmalto e la glassa e creare i miei disegni. La seconda cottura viene effettuata in un forno a legna, così come l'affumicatura.
Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Ik polijst het stuk (handgemaakt met de colombin techniek) tijdens het droogproces. Na een eerste bakbeurt leg ik een porseleinen onderlaag onder het glazuur, die voorkomt dat het glazuur aan het stuk blijft kleven. Tijdens het bakproces zit het glazuur bovenop de onderlaag en hecht zich aan het stuk. Na het bakken kan ik het onderglazuur en het glazuur verwijderen en mijn ontwerpen maken. Het tweede brandproces vindt plaats in een houtoven, evenals het roken.
