Espagnol Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun, a cargo del taller de grabado de la Escuela de Arte Multimedia de Grand Chalon. Con el apoyo de su profesora, Catherine Vageon, 22 alumnas, en su mayoría mujeres, colaboran en esta exposición. Algunas llevan asistiendo al taller desde su apertura (hace unos diez años), otras son principiantes, pero todas están entusiasmadas.
En cuanto a su inspiración, la encuentran en la vida de Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun, sus viajes, sus encuentros, su profesión de retratista y la revolución. Exploran las composiciones de la artista, los drapeados, las transparencias, los motivos, los jardines del palacio de Versalles, la arquitectura, los colores, la moda…
No tienen ninguna restricción, salvo esta amplia temática de «Femmes RegARTS». Las técnicas son múltiples y las combinarán a lo largo de su año de estudio para enriquecer el tema: aguafuerte, punta seca, estampado, linograbado, aguatinta, monotipo, gofrado...Estos términos se explicarán mediante un documento que se pondrá a disposición del público durante la exposición. Tienen previsto traer matrices, herramientas y algunas planchas de estudio para que las obras resulten más accesibles en cuanto a su proceso de elaboración.

Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun, gepresenteerd door het gravureatelier van de École Media Art du Grand Chalon. Onder begeleiding van hun docente, Catherine Vageon, leveren 22 leerlingen, voornamelijk meisjes, een bijdrage aan deze tentoonstelling. Sommigen bezoeken het atelier al sinds de opening (zo'n tien jaar geleden), anderen zijn beginners, maar ze zijn allemaal enthousiast.
Hun inspiratie putten ze uit het leven van Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun, haar reizen, haar ontmoetingen, haar werk als portrettiste en de revolutie. Ze verkennen de composities van de kunstenares, de draperingen, de transparanties, de motieven, de tuinen van het kasteel van Versailles, de architectuur, de kleuren, de kledingmode...
Ze hebben geen enkele beperking, behalve dit brede thema van Femmes RegARTS. Er worden diverse technieken gebruikt, die ze gedurende hun studiejaar zullen combineren om het thema uit te diepen: ets/ droge naald/ stempelen/ linosnede/ aquatint/ monotype/ reliëfdruk...Deze termen worden uitgelegd aan de hand van een document dat tijdens de tentoonstelling ter beschikking wordt gesteld. Ze zijn van plan om matrijzen, gereedschap en enkele schetsplaten mee te brengen om de werken en hun ontstaansproces beter zichtbaar en toegankelijker te maken.

Unter der Leitung ihrer Lehrerin Catherine Vageon tragen 22 überwiegend weibliche Schüler zu dieser Ausstellung bei. Einige besuchen das Atelier bereits seit dessen Eröffnung (vor etwa zehn Jahren), andere sind Anfängerinnen, doch alle sind voller Begeisterung.
Ihre Inspiration schöpfen sie aus dem Leben von Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun, ihren Reisen, ihren Begegnungen, ihrem Beruf als Porträtmalerin und der Revolution. Italien (Italie) Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun, a cura del laboratorio di incisione della Scuola d’Arte Multimediale del Grand Chalon. Con il sostegno della loro insegnante, Catherine Vageon, 22 allieve, per lo più ragazze, contribuiscono a questa mostra. Alcune frequentano il laboratorio sin dalla sua apertura (circa dieci anni fa), altre sono alle prime armi, ma tutte sono entusiaste.
Per quanto riguarda l’ispirazione, la traggono dalla vita di Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun, dai suoi viaggi, dai suoi incontri, dalla sua professione di ritrattista e dalla rivoluzione. Esplorano le composizioni dell’artista, i drappeggi, le trasparenze, i motivi, i giardini della reggia di Versailles, l’architettura, i colori, la moda…
Non hanno alcun vincolo, se non questa ampia tematica di «Femmes RegARTS». Le tecniche sono molteplici e, nel corso dell’anno di studio, verranno combinate per arricchire il tema: acquaforte / punta secca / stampa a rilievo / linoleografia / acquatinta / monotipo / goffratura...Questi termini saranno spiegati tramite un documento messo a disposizione durante la mostra. Le artiste prevedono di portare con sé matrici, strumenti e alcune tavole di studio per rendere i lavori più accessibili e illustrarne il processo di realizzazione.

With the support of their teacher, Catherine Vageon, 22 students – mostly women – are contributing to this exhibition.
