Gemeinsam haben sie durch ihre zahlreichen Konzerte den Alternative Rock in Frankreich und Europa etabliert. Doch stets am Rande, anders als die anderen: Die Wash singen auf Englisch und bieten einen Crossover aus Punk und Rockabilly, was sie zu einer der ersten europäischen Punkabilly-Bands und zur ersten in Frankreich macht.
