De kerk Saint-Saturnin de Toulenne, genesteld op een voorgebergte aan de oever van de Garonne, biedt een uitzonderlijk panorama en een rijk architecturaal erfgoed.
De oorspronkelijke kerk, gebouwd boven de haven in de Romaanse periode (11e? eeuw), heeft nu alleen nog zijn gewelfde apsis.
Met uitzondering van de huidige sacristie, die dateert uit de 18e eeuw, dateren alle uitbreidingen en interieurdecoraties van de kerk uit de 19e eeuw: de toevoeging van twee zijbeuken in 1838 met gelambriseerde en beschilderde plafonds, het gewelf van het schip en de opening van een axiale ingang, en de bouw van de neogotische klokkentoren in 1851-1852, op initiatief van pastoor Dupuy (gerestaureerd in 2010).
