Astor Piazzolla hatte es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, dem argentinischen Tango weltweit Anerkennung zu verschaffen, indem er in allen Konzertsälen spielte.
Mittlerweile wird der Tango in die Philharmonien eingeladen, und heute ist es sogar Piazzolla, der die großen Komponisten an seinen Tisch bittet.
