A unique fusion of Afro-electro house with Bantu lullabies from the Congo: Les Mamans du Congo & Rrobin sing to empower African women and reveal the Congo’s cultural heritage to the world. On stage, infertility, witchcraft, the ravages of jealousy and unemployment are all social issues that Gladys Samba sets out to address in a colourful show that brings the realities of everyday life in Brazzaville to the stage.
A stirring foray into a world where Gladys Samba stands up for her sisters and sows the seeds of reflection on the borders between the Congo and France. This spellbinding performance has already received rave reviews from the press both internationally and in France (Le Monde, France Inter, RFI, FIP…) and has been warmly welcomed by audiences!

L'incontro unico tra produzioni afro-electro house e le ninne nanne bantu del Congo: Le Mamans du Congo & Rrobin cantano per emancipare le donne africane e rivelare al mondo il patrimonio culturale congolese. Sul palco, la sterilità, la stregoneria, i mali della gelosia o la mancanza di lavoro sono tutti temi sociali che Gladys Samba si impegna ad affrontare, in uno spettacolo vivace e colorato che ripropone sul palcoscenico i codici della vita quotidiana a Brazzaville.
Una scossa che irrompe in un mondo in cui Gladys Samba si impegna a favore delle sue sorelle e getta il seme di una riflessione ai confini tra il Congo e la Francia. Eine einzigartige Begegnung zwischen Afro-Electro-House-Produktionen und den Bantu-Wiegenliedern aus dem Kongo: Les Mamans du Congo & Rrobin singen, um die afrikanische Frau zu emanzipieren und der Welt das kulturelle Erbe der kongolesischen Mütter näherzubringen. Auf der Bühne sind Unfruchtbarkeit, Hexerei, die verheerenden Auswirkungen von Eifersucht oder Arbeitslosigkeit gesellschaftliche Themen, mit denen sich Gladys Samba in einer farbenfrohen Show auseinandersetzt, die die Codes des Alltagslebens in Brazzaville auf die Bühne bringt.
Ein mitreißender Einblick in eine Welt, in der Gladys Samba sich für ihre Schwestern einsetzt und den Grundstein für eine Reflexion an der Grenze zwischen dem Kongo und Frankreich legt. Op het podium zijn onvruchtbaarheid, hekserij, de nadelen van jaloezie of het gebrek aan werk zijn allemaal maatschappelijke kwesties die Gladys Samba aan de orde stelt in een kleurrijke voorstelling die de codes van het dagelijks leven in Brazzaville op het podium tot leven brengt.
