The feminine name carries with it the hope and energy of beginnings. This young band from Marseille (France) offers a modern, simple, groovy and youthful hardcore, tinged with nu metal and alternative rock influences, while trying not to follow any fashion. Aurore released their debut album Sparks in 2023, offering music that is both powerful and emotional. The album, mixed and mastered by Florent Salfati, recounts various emotions experienced during adolescence. The desire for freedom, the need for emancipation, boredom and the violence that puts an end to the naivety of childhood, but also the sadness of the end of vacations and the first break-up in love. The first part of the album is more aggressive, transcribing frustration, the experience of rejection by others, the violence that puts an end to childhood innocence. The second part is more profound, seeking to exorcise resentments before eventually turning the page.\r\n\r\n\r\nWHO I AM\r\n[Metallic Hardcore | France, Angoul\u00EAme]\r\n\r\nWho I Am is a metallic hardcore band from Angoul\u00EAme, inspired by the likes of Incendiary, Kickback, Suburban Scum and Terror.\r\n\r\n\r\nIRON DEFICIENCY\r\n[Straight Edge Hardcore | France, Lyon]\r\n\r\nFormed in 2019, Iron Deficiency are a band based in Lyon, France, who combine their love of Crew-style Youth Hardcore with the heavier sounds of Everybody Gets Hurt, Irate and Billy Club Sandwich. The straight-edge band welcomed a second guitarist to its ranks, and things moved on at a rapid pace. Following its partnership with Patient Zero Records, an American label that also produced albums by Burning Strong, Lead Dream and Bitter Truth, Iron Deficiency released its debut album, Morning in the Burning House, in 2022.\r\n\r\n\r\nSPIRULINE\r\n[Riot Hardcore | France, Paris]\r\n\r\nSince winter 2022, Spiruline, is a French hardcore quartet from Paris, influenced by riot grrrl and metalcore, with screamed vocals over high-energy saturated guitars, rhythmic breakdowns and catchy melodies, fueling their rage to live in a patriarchal, capitalist society. They compose DIY feminist anthems with original art direction that's both creepy and cute. In 2024, the band released two new singles: \"Punk B4 School\" and \"Mosquito\".\r\n\r\n\r\nSEDONA\r\n[Hardcore | France, Marseille]\r\n\r\nBorn in 2025, Sedona marks the meeting of Florent Salfati (Landmvrks), this time on guitar, and Aur\u00E9lien Mariat (ex-Resolve), who steps behind the microphone. Conceived as a more raw terrain for expression, the project was unveiled with \"Hello My Name Is\", the first single released in October 2025. A few weeks later, Sedona made a surprise appearance at the Moonball release party at Molotov, where the duo performed two tracks and hinted at what was to come.\r\n\r\n\r\nEVEN IF THE SKY IS FALLING DOWN\r\n[Metalcore | France, Montpellier]\r\n\r\nNew band from Montpellier with members of Citrus, Dig In Wretch and Tortured Sacrament!\r\nIf you like early 2000?s metalcore, think of heaven Shall Burn, Caliban or the more recent Renounced!\r\n\r\n\r\nCOH\u00C9SION\r\n[Metallic Hardcore | France, Paris]\r\n\r\nWith their debut EP \"A Hill To Die On\", these five kids from Paris express a militant rage and the need to band together to organize themselves through metal-influenced, dissonant hardcore.
