Dès l'entrée on est saisi par la hauteur et la lumière due à la blancheur des pierres de tuffeau et la grandeur des ouvertures. Le chevet extérieur contraste avec l'austérité de la façade, son plan intérieur et la richesse de ses chapiteaux ne laissent pas indifférent ainsi que le clocher qu'elle doit à un architecte du XIXème siècle, qui vient renforcer son originalité et la fait distinguer de très loin.
