Nach einer ersten Veranstaltung wiederholt das Kollektiv „Paon de nuit“ das Erlebnis im „La Bricole“.
Für diese zweite Ausgabe präsentiert das Kollektiv ein Programm an der Schnittstelle von experimenteller Musik, Pop, Dub und Bassmusik.
Auf dem Programm:
Bulie Jordeaux – wie eine Tagträumerei im Wachzustand schlingt sich ihr giftiger Pop langsam um Klänge, die zugleich beunruhigend und beruhigend sind. Sie schlängelt sich durch hypnotische Landschaften und entfaltet dabei Dub-Rhythmen und ihre berauschenden Chöre. Bulie Jordeaux webt träge Klangbilder, in denen sich bezaubernde Synthesizer und dröhnende Bässe vermischen. Betörende Rhythmen schlingen sich langsam um Klänge, die mal himmlisch, mal höhlenartig klingen, und zeichnen so eine hypnotische und einfühlsame Klanglandschaft.
Chewlie, Produzent*in, bildende*r Künstler*in und DJ mit Sitz in Bern, bewegt sich an den Grenzen der Bassmusik und hat eine ausgeprägte Vorliebe für Asymmetrie und Atmosphäre. Ihre Musik hat ihre Wurzeln im Leftfield Bass, im dekonstruierten Club und im Ambient und lotet das Gleichgewicht zwischen Schwere und Leere, Spannung und Entspannung aus. Sowohl meditativ als auch für den Dancefloor geschaffen, bewegen sich ihre Live-Sets und Produktionen zwischen beunruhigenden Texturen und fragmentierten Rhythmen, stets mit einer ruhigen und kontrollierten Intensität.
Bane:9, ein in Lyon ansässiger Produzent und Live-Musiker, bewegt sich in dichten Klanglandschaften, die von tiefen Frequenzen dominiert werden und in denen industrielle Texturen auf von Dub geprägte Strukturen treffen. Da er aus dem Schlagzeug kommt, behält er einen zutiefst rhythmischen Ansatz bei, der jedoch selten statisch ist: Die Motive entwickeln sich weiter, lösen sich auf und ordnen sich neu, getrieben von organischen perkussiven Ausbrüchen.
