In un paese in guerra, nel cuore di un piccolo villaggio, un padre ha costruito un teatro di legno. Lo ha chiamato %AB La Balena blu %BB. Una notte, mentre infuria la guerra, vi porta sua figlia Macha. Per placare la sua paura, le regala il suo ultimo spettacolo: una poesia senza parole sulla nascita del mondo. Da solo sul palcoscenico, Simon Falguieres dispiega un teatro di materiali e immagini, in cui il legno diventa rifugio e l’immaginario, una forma di resistenza.
Una favola delicata e luminosa, in cui l’immaginario tiene testa alla realtà.

Anglais A Father Creates a World for His Daughter
In a country at war, in the heart of a small village, a father built a wooden theater. He called it “The Blue Whale.” One night, as the war rages, he takes his daughter Macha there. To soothe her fear, he presents her with his final performance: a wordless poem about the birth of the world. Alone on stage, Simon Falguieres creates a world of textures and images, where wood becomes a refuge and the imagination a form of resistance.
A sensitive and luminous fable, in which the imagination stands up to reality.

In een land waar oorlog woedt, in het hart van een klein dorpje, heeft een vader een houten theater gebouwd. Hij heeft het %AB De Blauwe Walvis %BB genoemd. Op een nacht, terwijl de oorlog woedt, neemt hij zijn dochter Macha mee naar het theater. Om haar angst te verzachten, schenkt hij haar zijn laatste voorstelling: een woordloos gedicht over het ontstaan van de wereld. Alleen op het podium ontvouwt Simon Falguières een theater van materialen en beelden, waarin het hout een toevluchtsoord wordt en de verbeelding een vorm van verzet.
Een gevoelige en stralende fabel, waarin de verbeelding standhoudt tegenover de werkelijkheid.

In einem vom Krieg heimgesuchten Land, im Herzen eines kleinen Dorfes, hat ein Vater ein Theater aus Holz gebaut. Er hat es „Der blaue Wal“ genannt. Eines Nachts, während der Krieg tobt, nimmt er seine Tochter Macha dorthin mit. Um ihre Angst zu lindern, schenkt er ihr sein letztes Stück: ein Gedicht ohne Worte über die Entstehung der Welt. Allein auf der Bühne entfaltet Simon Falguières ein Theater aus Materialien und Bildern, in dem das Holz zum Zufluchtsort und die Fantasie zu einer Form des Widerstands wird.
Eine einfühlsame und strahlende Fabel, in der die Fantasie der Realität die Stirn bietet.
