Los artesanos Rolland y Marine Chauvière-Coquin os proponen una visita a su taller, llena de intercambios y descubrimientos.
Ubicados en el corazón de la «Pequeña Ciudad con Carácter» de Bazouges-la-Pérouse, han creado un espacio que aúna exposición, tienda y talleres abiertos al público. Te harán descubrir sus dos técnicas artesanales.
Rolland, grabador en linóleo, crea papeles estampados utilizando numerosos sellos pequeños. Inspirándose en la naturaleza y en los talleres del siglo XVI, compone a mano delicados motivos florales, destinados a decorar las paredes como papel pintado o a ser enmarcados.
Marine, ceramista, trabaja principalmente con porcelana para crear vajillas y piezas decorativas. Sensible a su translucidez, utiliza engobes como si fueran acuarelas para buscar transparencia y ligereza. También explora el teñido en masa, en el que la porcelana se tiñe desde el interior.
La primera parte de la visita se dedicará a la fabricación de dominós. Rolland presentará las diferentesetapas, desde la creación del motivo hasta su impresión, explicando en particular las dificultades relacionadas con la repetición del motivo en los cuatro lados del papel.
La segunda parte estará dedicada a la cerámica. Marine explicará las etapas de fabricación de una pieza de porcelana y realizará una demostración de torneado.

Marine, céramiste, travaille principalement la porcelaine pour créer vaisselle et pièces décoratives. Sensible à sa translucidité, elle utilise des engobes comme des aquarelles pour rechercher transparence et légèreté. Elle explore également le nériage, où la porcelaine est teintée dans la masse.
La première partie de la visite sera consacrée à la dominoterie. Rolland présentera les différentes étapes, de la création du motif à son impression, en expliquant notamment les contraintes liées à la répétition du motif sur les quatre côtés du papier.
La seconde partie sera consacrée à la céramique. Marine expliquera les étapes de fabrication d’une pièce en porcelaine et réalisera une démonstration de tournage.

Rolland, a linocut artist, creates domino-patterned papers using numerous small stamps. Inspired by nature and 16th-century workshops, he hand-composes delicate floral patterns intended to decorate walls as wallpaper or to be framed.
Marine, a ceramic artist, works primarily with porcelain to create tableware and decorative pieces. Drawn to its translucency, she uses engobes like watercolors to achieve transparency and lightness. She also explores slip casting, in which the porcelain is dyed throughout the mass.
The first part of the tour will be devoted to the domino workshop. Rolland will present the variousvarious stages, from the creation of the pattern to its printing, explaining in particular the challenges involved in repeating the pattern on all four sides of the paper.
The second part will be devoted to ceramics. Marine will explain the steps involved in making a porcelain piece and will give a demonstration of wheel-throwing.
