. . "1. (Yellow markings). Departure from the Tourist Office (possibility of parking in the Place des Aires car park in front of the Office). Take the Montée des Aires lane. You arrive on the Route de Grans. Follow this road (direction Pont de Rhaud-Grans) for about fifteen minutes until you reach the crossroads marking the place called Le Manoir. Then turn right (Voie Aurélienne).
2. (Yellow markings). At the crossroads of Le Manoir, turn right (Voie Aurélienne). The road then becomes very narrow and runs in the shade of the pine forest, along low dry stone walls. One kilometre after the place known as Le Manoir, numerous Bories are visible on the left, which may be evidence of an ancient village of Bories (please respect private property).
3. Shortly after, you will reach the Charrier crossroads. Take the left-hand path (small tarmac road, presence of Bories) for 500m until the DFCI barrier (PR 204).
4. From the barrier, pass in front of the buried cistern and continue the path through the pine forest to the next DFCI barrier. You then walk through meadows of rockrose and rosemary and cross the place called Les Grattes.
5. Shortly afterwards you will reach the DFCI 422 tank and then take the Chemin de l'Etang de Berthier on your right (at the concrete electricity post). This path runs along a forest of holm oaks and pines on the left, while on the right you will find vast fields of wheat, alfalfa and olive trees (borie visible on the right of the path). You will soon reach a crossroads marking the start (on the right) of the small variant of Les Beaumettes, and on the left the place called Les Plantades.
6. (Yellow markings). At the crossroads, continue straight on the same path.
7. Shortly afterwards you will come to another crossroads (on the right, the start of the Campréoux variant), continue straight on. 500m further on, you will come to a fork in the road and leave the path by taking the one on the right (direction south-south-east Chemin des Bories). Continue along the main path. Shortly afterwards, you will reach a place called Devens de Barzac, where the track becomes narrower. After passing the DFCI barrier, the path crosses open areas (lawns), a refuge for many animal and plant species, and a favourite hunting ground for birds of prey. Continuing along the path, you will pass between two yellow markers (gas pipe), then reach the panoramic viewpoint (view of the Château de Confoux to the south and the Chaîne des Alpilles to the north).
8. After the panoramic viewpoint, you pass the Chemin du Cros des Amandiers, then the Chemin de Confoux. This track will then meander between yeuseries, pine forests and fields. Pass the 534 tank (on the left of the track in a bend). After 500m, you join the small tarmac road (signposted CG13).
9. You can then take the road on the left towards the bee wall (5 minutes away), located slightly upwards under the pines. Then retrace your steps to recover the route. Follow the road, at the first crossroads, you will discover an aiguier (watering place dug in the rock) on the left. Continue on the Voie Aurélienne, 300m further on, you will find on your left the route you took at the start. Then head towards Cornillon-Confoux."@en . . . . . . . . . . . . "2021-10-25"^^ .
