Français (France) La Ville de Biarritz propose une exposition en plein air itinérante dans les quartiers pour partir à la découverte de l’Histoire de Biarritz à travers des photographies aériennes anciennes et contemporaines de l’IGN, en partenariat avec l’association Le Pachyderme Culturel.
9 sites présenteront pendant près d’un mois chacun des clichés réalisés en 1952 et en 2024, symboles de l’évolution et la transformation de la commune, quartier par quartier. Parmi les objectifs de cette exposition : la valorisation du patrimoine local, la transmission intergénérationnelle, l’éducation et la sensibilisation à l’évolution du territoire. Chaque photographie est accompagnée d'un texte historique qui décrit la situation territoriale de l'époque et d'aujourd'hui, enrichi d'anecdotes sur les infrastructures telles que les entreprises, stades, écoles, etc.

Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) De stad Biarritz organiseert in samenwerking met de vereniging Le Pachyderme Culturel een reizende openluchttentoonstelling in de verschillende wijken van de stad, waarbij de geschiedenis van Biarritz wordt verkend aan de hand van oude en hedendaagse luchtfoto's van het IGN.
