From 21 October to 1 November, the artist invites the public to come and discover her ceramic paintings at the gallery located at 17 Rue Cachin. She will be delighted to be present every afternoon — sure to bring back many fond memories. After a wonderful year marked by exhibitions – including those at the Rencontres de Saint-Céneri and the Ancien Prêche in Pontorson – it is a particular delight for Laure Exposito to return to the Côte Fleurie. Having lived in Honfleur for 35 years, it is with great emotion that she once again walks the cobbled streets of the town she holds so dear. From 21 October to 1 November, the artist invites the public to come and discover her ceramic paintings at the gallery located at 17, rue Cachin. She will be delighted to be present every afternoon — which is sure to bring back many memories! — Having now been based in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel for three years, her approach as a ceramicist and sculptor is rooted in a physical and poetic communion with the elements. Her work draws inspiration from the interplay between sedimentary slate, porcelain and the poetry of Raku. The opening will take place on Wednesday 21 October from 5.00 pm. The evening will continue with a communal meal. Après une belle année marquée par des expositions, celle des Rencontre de Saint-Céneri et à l’Ancien Prêche de Pontorson, c’est un bonheur tout particulier pour Laure Exposito de retrouver la Côte Fleurie. Ayant habité 35 ans à Honfleur, c’est avec beaucoup d’émotion qu’elle foule à nouveau les pavés de sa ville de cœur. Du 21 octobre au 1er novembre, l’artiste invite le public à venir découvrir ses tableaux-céramiques à la galerie située au 17, rue Cachin. Elle aura le grand plaisir d’assurer la permanence tous les après-midi — de quoi faire remonter bien des souvenirs ! — Installée maintenant depuis trois ans en Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel, sa démarche de céramiste et sculptrice s’enracine dans un compagnonnage physique et poétique avec les éléments. Son travail se nourrit de la rencontre entre l’ardoise sédimentaire, la porcelaine et la poésie du Raku. Le vernissage aura lieu le mercredi 21 octobre dès 17 h. Soirée prolongée par un repas partagé.
