Aufgrund ihrer Nord-Süd-Ausrichtung und der vorherrschenden Westwinde weist die Pointe du Meinga eine Besonderheit in der Physiognomie ihrer Vegetation auf: Hochheide auf der windgeschützten Ostseite, kurzrasiges Grasland und niederliegende Vegetation auf der von den vorherrschenden Winden verwehten Westseite. Es ist auch einer der bevorzugten Brutplätze für scheue und anspruchsvolle Seevogelarten: schwer zugängliche Nistplätze, Heide und Gebüsch, die es Zugvögeln ermöglichen, sich mit einheimischen Kolonien zu verbinden.

Door zijn noord-zuid oriëntatie en de overheersende westenwinden heeft de Meinga-punt een kenmerkend vegetatiepatroon: hoogveen op de oostelijke helling, beschut tegen de wind, en kort grasland en prostaatvegetatie op de westelijke helling, meegesleurd door de overheersende winden. Het is ook een van de bevoorrechte plaatsen voor de voortplanting van schuwe en veeleisende zeevogelsoorten: broedplaatsen die weinig toegankelijk zijn, heidevelden en struwelen waardoor trekvogels zich bij de inheemse kolonies kunnen voegen.

La pointe du Meinga, par son orientation nord-sud et compte tenu des vents dominants d'ouest, présente une particularité dans la physionomie de sa végétation : lande haute sur le versant est, abrité des vents, pelouse rase et végétation prostrée sur le versant ouest, balayé par les vents dominants. C'est également l'un des sites privilégiés pour la reproduction d'espèces d'oiseaux marins farouches et exigeantes : aires de nidification peu accessibles, landes et fourrés permettant à des oiseaux migrateurs de rejoindre des colonies autochtones.

With its north-south orientation and prevailing westerly winds, the Pointe du Meinga has a distinctive vegetation pattern: high moorland on the eastern slope, sheltered from the winds, and low grassland and prostrate vegetation on the western slope, swept by the prevailing winds. It's also one of the preferred breeding grounds for shy, demanding seabird species: nesting areas that are not easily accessible, moorland and thickets that enable migratory birds to join native colonies.
