As part of the Rémalire 2025 festival, the Association Patrimoine et Orgue de Rémalard is highlighting Rémalard's links with Mont Saint-Michel. Throughout the year, an exhibition and conferences will recount the story of ancient pilgrimages and the modern tourist cycle route. A coach trip to Mont-Saint-Michel is also on offer on Monday July 7. Departing Rémalard at 6 a.m., you'll board a touring coach bound for Mont-Saint-Michel. On arrival at around 10 a.m., the shuttle will drop you off at the gates of the stone vessel for a first free period of relaxation and discovery. Lunch is also free, leaving everyone free to choose between a packed picnic or a break in one of the Mont's restaurants and snack bars. Meet at 2pm at the main entrance to the mountain for a choice of two activities. The first is a two-hour discovery tour of the bay, combining nature and culture around the mountain. Barefoot in the (sometimes shifting!) sand, a professional guide will explain how nature blends with history, to the rhythm of the tides. If you prefer to keep your feet dry, a historical tour of the village and its secret alleyways will take you right up to the gates of the abbey...
