Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) In het middeleeuwse gehucht Saint-Avit in Lacapelle-Biron staat het geboortehuis van Bernard Palissy, keramist, wetenschapper en schrijver uit de Renaissance. Het museum dat zijn naam draagt, biedt een permanente tentoonstelling gewijd aan het leven en het werk van deze humanist, die in de 19e eeuw de bijnaam „de Franse Leonardo da Vinci” kreeg. Om hulde te brengen aan deze pionier organiseert het museum elk jaar een tentoonstelling van gerenommeerde hedendaagse keramisten. Een tentoonstelling zal een eerbetoon brengen aan Jean Jacquinot, een kunstenaar die bekendstaat om zijn werk met op houtvuur gebakken glazuur en om zijn creaties die een gezellige kunst vieren.

Allemand (Allemagne) Der mittelalterliche Weiler Saint-Avit in Lacapelle-Biron beherbergt das Geburtshaus von Bernard Palissy, einem Keramiker, Wissenschaftler und Schriftsteller der Renaissance. Das nach ihm benannte Museum bietet eine Dauerausstellung, die dem Leben und Werk dieses Humanisten gewidmet ist, den man im 19. Jahrhundert als „den französischen Leonardo da Vinci“ bezeichnete. Um diesem Vorreiter Tribut zu zollen, präsentiert das Museum jedes Jahr eine Ausstellung renommierter zeitgenössischer Keramikkünstler. Eine Ausstellung würdigt Jean Jacquinot, einen Künstler, der für seine Arbeiten mit Holzbrandglasuren und für seine Kreationen bekannt ist, die eine gesellige Kunst zelebrieren.
