Afgestudeerd na 3 jaar studie, werd hij assistent beeldhouwer voor Saint-Clair Cemin in New York in conceptuele beeldhouwkunst. Hij nam deel aan de werkplaats van Bénédicte Rousselot (voor alle kunst van de wereld) in La Rochelle om het beroep van meester-beeldhouwer te leren.
