Mai. Hun bewegingen vertellen over aarzelingen, over impulsen… What if, instead of navel-gazing, we paid more attention to others? What if, despite our differences, we moved forward together, in the same direction? In this production aimed at young audiences, choreographer Ambra Senatore seeks to unravel the notion of “being the same” and the misunderstandings it creates, in order to weave together a sense of community and relationships in which difference is a source of richness. The performers embody a miniature, ever-shifting society. Together, they move forward, follow one another, accompany each other, drift apart, and then come back together. Their movements convey hesitation and bursts of energy… %C0 As they listen to one another, they also interact with the audience, sharing their thoughts, questions, and feelings. Little by little, their differences fade away as their relationship takes shape… In *Le Moulin des autres* (working title), Ambra Senatore playfully subverts a famous Italian expression and invites us to divert the flow of water—not toward ourselves, but toward the other. With a touch of madness, nestled beneath delicate layers of tenderness and humor, this performance is decidedly a dance of steps—and even a game, pure and simple.
