Aan de hand van vijf portretten van denkbeeldige boeren neemt hij ons mee op een tedere, grappige en diepgaande reis naar het hart van de Bretonse landbouwwereld: zijn herinneringen, zijn hoop, zijn twijfels… en zijn ontwikkelingen. Hij verkent de wegen die hij had kunnen inslaan als hij de familieboerderij had overgenomen.
