He has worked as a jewellery designer, translator and freelance English teacher, whilst pursuing personal artistic projects in the fields of writing, painting and photography. Today, he exhibits his photographs and takes part in projects and workshops linked to creativity and self-expression.\n\nJeanne-Marie Le Bozec: In this exhibition, my pottery pieces will serve as symbols. Through variations of blue, they will reflect the infinite diversity of possibilities. They will not be for sale. Exploring this colour through my pottery is a source of fun and pleasure for me.\nCreating alongside my friends Craig and Christian sparks my inspiration. Blue will bring us together; we will form a bond within the infinity of this colour.\n\nChristian Schmidt: Even as a child I loved drawing, so when I was introduced to oil painting at around the age of 9 \u2013 when I was given my first art case \u2013 it was a revelation. Oil has been my medium of choice, and I painted from life as a self-taught artist for around twenty years. At the same time, my commitment to nature and some pivotal encounters led me towards nature photography. My move to Burgundy fifteen years ago marked an aesthetic and emotional turning point. My love for old stone buildings, built heritage and landscapes was rekindled. My photography is evolving, and I\u2019m returning to landscapes and Romanesque architecture. So many subjects to explore \u2013 my brushes are itching to get to work! Today I\u2019m learning other techniques: pastels, ink, drawing and acrylics. I love to experiment!
