Anglais <p>Through the poetry of Fabrice Melquiot’s text, four actresses with disabilities bring their own version of *The Ugly Duckling* to life</p><p>F%E9licie Artaud directs artists from the inclusive permanent troupe La Bulle Bleue in a script written specifically for the collective, in a sensitive, playful—and wild!—adaptation of the fairy tale. While a voice-over narrates the story, the four actresses bring it to life before our eyes. Using whatever means are at their disposal, the performers act, embody, mime, create sound effects, and subvert the conventions of theater. It is Mireille’s clownishness, Thierry’s calm composure, Robin’s rebellious spirit, and Steve’s hypersensitivity that fuel this unique adaptation. While Andersen’s work evokes rejection and otherness, it also reveals a tender humor, a satirical perspective, and a tremendous energy of resistance. Here, vulnerability never confines; it becomes the driving force behind play, creativity, and freedom</p>

Con i mezzi a disposizione, le interpreti recitano, incarnano, mimano, creano effetti sonori e stravolgono i codici del teatro. Sono il clown di Mireille, la flemma di Thierry, la ribellione di Robin e la sensibilità a fior di pelle di Steve ad alimentare questo adattamento unico. Se l’opera di Andersen evoca il rifiuto e la diversità, rivela anche un umorismo tenero, uno sguardo satirico e una formidabile energia di resistenza.
