Il primo ponte fu inaugurato il 4 settembre 1904.
Nel 1951 fu costruito un secondo ponte, noto come "ponte provvisorio", sulle fondamenta del vecchio ponte.
La costruzione del terzo ponte Arciat è iniziata alla fine del 2007. Allo stesso tempo, il ponte temporaneo è stato completamente smantellato.
Il nuovo ponte è stato aperto al traffico il 27 ottobre 2009. Questo ponte è lungo 264 m.
