Français (France) SolHimal est une Association d'Alsace-Lorraine à but non lucratif qui soutient les populations himalayennes (Népal et Inde) et la culture tibétaine au moyen de parrainages (d'enfants surtout) et du développement de projets locaux durables. Elle organise aussi de grandes expositions - ventes solidaires dans tout le Grand Est et y met en valeur uniquement des objets authentiques, en provenance directe des régions de l'Himalaya et fabriqués exclusivement sur place par des artisans népalais et réfugiés tibétains: vêtements, bijoux, tapis, châles, sacs, statues et statuettes, bols chantants, objets du Culte Bouddhique, épices et thés de toutes sortes, papier de riz, etc. Cette année, après l'affreuse catastrophe survenue au Népal et au Tibet le 26 août 2026, l'Association s'investit bien entendu plus que jamais pour apporter de l'aide et des fonds aux sinistrés via son bureau de Katmandou. Son mot d'ordre "Eduquer, nourrir, loger et soigner" est plus que jamais d'actualité. Elle a également mis en ligne une cagnotte à destination des sinistrés, accessible via son site internet: www.solhimal.org

De vereniging organiseert ook grote solidariteitstentoonstellingen en -verkopen in de hele regio Grand Est, waarbij uitsluitend authentieke voorwerpen worden aangeboden die rechtstreeks uit de Himalaya-regio's afkomstig zijn en uitsluitend ter plaatse worden vervaardigd door Nepalese ambachtslieden en: kleding, sieraden, tapijten, sjaals, tassen, beelden en beeldjes, klankschalen, voorwerpen voor de boeddhistische eredienst, allerlei soorten specerijen en thee, rijstpapier, enz. Dit jaar, na de vreselijke ramp die Nepal en Tibet op 26 augustus 2026 trof, zet de vereniging zich uiteraard meer dan ooit in om via haar kantoor in Kathmandu hulp en financiële steun te bieden aan de getroffenen. Haar motto „Onderwijs, voedsel, onderdak en zorg“ is actueler dan ooit. También organiza grandes exposiciones y ventas solidarias por toda la región del Gran Este, en las que solo se exponen objetos auténticos, procedentes directamente de las regiones del Himalaya y fabricados exclusivamente in situ por artesanos nepalíes y refugiadostibetanos: ropa, joyas, alfombras, chales, bolsos, estatuas y estatuillas, cuencos tibetanos, objetos de culto budista, especias y tés de todo tipo, papel de arroz, etc. Este año, tras la terrible catástrofe ocurrida en Nepal y el Tíbet el 26 de agosto de 2026, la Asociación se está volcando, como es lógico, más que nunca en prestar ayuda y recaudar fondos para los damnificados a través de su oficina de Katmandú. Su lema «Educar, alimentar, alojar y atender» es más actual que nunca.
