Allemand (Allemagne) Die an der Route der normannischen Abteien gelegene Prioratskirche wurde 1058 von der Abtei Fécamp auf Wunsch des Herrn von Creully gegründet. Die bis ins 16. Jahrhundert sehr wohlhabende Gemeinschaft verarmte ab dem 18. Jahrhundert, woraufhin einige Gebäude zerstört wurden. Aus dieser Zeit sind der Chor der Prioratskirche – das einzige Überbleibsel aus dem 12. Jahrhundert und ein Musterbeispiel der romanischen Architektur in der Normandie –, das Pförtnerhaus und der Justizturm erhalten geblieben. Das Hauptgebäude ist nach wie vor imposant und beherbergt den Gerichtssaal, das Refektorium der Mönche sowie den Priorenturm. Der private Bereich rundet das Anwesen ab (Rosengarten, Obstbaumallee, Heilkräutergarten, Fischteich der Mönche, moderne Gewächshäuser).

Français (France) Situé sur la route des abbayes normandes, le prieuré fut fondé en 1058 par l’abbaye de Fécamp, à la demande du seigneur de Creully. La communauté, très prospère jusqu’au 16e siècle, s’appauvrit dès le 18e siècle et certains bâtiments sont alors détruits. De cette époque subsistent le chœur de l’église prieurale, seul vestige du 12e siècle et modèle d’architecture romane en Normandie, la porterie, la tour de justice. Le corps de logis reste imposant, il accueille la salle de justice, le réfectoire des moines ou encore la tour du prieur. La partie privée met en valeur le site (roseraie, allée fruitière, jardin médicinal, vivier des moines, serres modernes).
NB : Le Prieuré peut être exceptionnellement fermé en cas de manifestation, et sera notamment fermé les 12,14, 24, 25 et 26 juillet 2026.

De gemeenschap, die tot in de 16e eeuw zeer welvarend was, raakte vanaf de 18e eeuw in verval en sommige gebouwen werden toen gesloopt. Uit die tijd zijn nog het koor van de priorijkerk bewaard gebleven – het enige overblijfsel uit de 12e eeuw en een toonbeeld van romaanse architectuur in Normandië – de poortgebouw en de rechtstoren. Het hoofdgebouw is nog steeds indrukwekkend en herbergt de rechtszaal, de refter van de monniken en de toren van de prior. Het privégedeelte verrijkt de locatie (rozen tuin, fruitpad, medicinale tuin, de visvijver van de monniken, moderne kassen).

Italien (Italie) Situato lungo la strada delle abbazie normanne, il priorato fu fondato nel 1058 dall’abbazia di Fécamp, su richiesta del signore di Creully. La comunità, molto prospera fino al XVI secolo, si impoverì a partire dal XVIII secolo e alcuni edifici furono allora distrutti. Di quel periodo rimangono il coro della chiesa priorale, unico vestigio del XII secolo e modello di architettura romanica in Normandia, la portineria e la torre della giustizia. Il corpo centrale rimane imponente e ospita l’aula di giustizia, il refettorio dei monaci e la torre del priore. La parte privata valorizza il sito (roseto, viale degli alberi da frutto, giardino medicinale, vivaio dei monaci, serre moderne).

Anglais Situated on the Route des Abbayes Normandes, the priory was founded in 1058 by Fécamp Abbey, at the request of the Lord of Creully. The community, which flourished until the 16th century, fell into decline from the 18th century onwards, and some of the buildings were subsequently demolished. Surviving from this period are the choir of the priory church – the sole remnant of the 12th century and a fine example of Romanesque architecture in Normandy – the gatehouse and the justice tower. The main building remains imposing, housing the courtroom, the monks’ refectory and the prior’s tower. The private grounds enhance the site (rose garden, fruit-tree avenue, medicinal garden, the monks’ fishpond and modern greenhouses).

La zona privada realza el atractivo del lugar (rosaleda, sendero de árboles frutales, jardín medicinal, estanque de los monjes, invernaderos modernos).
