Vervolgens ben ik naar New York verhuisd, waar ik een master in communicatieontwerp heb gevolgd aan het Pratt Institute. Daarna heb ikin de uitgeverij als artistiek directeur, waarna ik besloot mijn eigen prentenboeken voor kinderen te schrijven en te illustreren. Ik heb bijna 100 boeken gepubliceerd voordat ik terugkeerde naar de beeldende kunst, waarbij ik me specialiseerde in kindportretten naar de natuur, voornamelijk in, voornamelijk in aquarel, soms in olieverf. Anschließend ließ ich mich in New York nieder, wo ich am Pratt Institute einen Master in Kommunikationsdesign absolvierte; danach arbeitete ichviele Jahre lang als Art Directorin im Verlagswesen tätig, bevor ich mich entschloss, meine eigenen Bilderbücher für Kinder zu schreiben und zu illustrieren. Ich habe fast 100 Bücher veröffentlicht, bevor ich zur bildenden Kunst zurückkehrte und mich auf Kinderporträts spezialisierte, die nach derdem Leben gemalt werden, hauptsächlich in Aquarell, manchmal auch in Öl. I then moved to New York, where I earned a master’s degree in communication design at the Pratt Institute, and subsequently workedin publishing as an art director for many years before deciding to write and illustrate my own picture books for children. I published nearly 100 books before returning to the fine arts, specializing in portraits of children painted fromlife, mainly in watercolor, and sometimes in oil. I have owned a house and a studio in France for 35 years, where I led watercolor workshops for about 15 years in my studio."</span></p>

Je me suis ensuite installée à New York où j’ai suivi un master en design de communication au Pratt Institute, puis j’ai travaillé dans l’édition en tant que directrice artistique pendant de nombreuses années avant de décider d’écrire et d’illustrer mes propres livres d’images pour enfants. Successivamente mi sono trasferita a New York, dove ho conseguito un master in design della comunicazione presso il Pratt Institute, dopodiché ho lavoratonel settore editoriale come direttrice artistica per molti anni prima di decidere di scrivere e illustrare i miei libri illustrati per bambini.
