"Formado en caligrafía china durante varios años por el Sr. Shi Bo en París, el rigor del gesto y el dominio de la línea marcaron profundamente mi representación pictórica hasta que un encuentro con el Sr. Gu Gongdu, pintor de renombre y antiguo profesor de Bellas Artes de Shangai, me abrió los ojos a la técnica de la acuarela y la pintura china. Como resultado, mi práctica se enraíza tanto en una tradición milenaria en la que el movimiento de la mano refleja el ímpetu del espíritu como en una espontaneidad, fluidez y capacidad para captar el momento que aporta el agua en la base de estos medios"
