C’est l’histoire d’une femme au bord de la crise de la quarantaine, biberonnée aux bluettes et contes de fées. Une femme des années 2020, pas tout à fait libérée, qui sans le regard d’un homme, n’est même pas sûre d’exister. À la manière d’une Annie Ernaux qui aurait mangé Florence Foresti, Chloé Oliveres rejoue ses amours réelles et imaginaires, avec beaucoup d’autodérision, le sens du tragique, une chanson en yaourt, quelques personnages, et pas mal de danse lascive.

This is the story of a woman on the brink of a mid-life crisis, raised on romantic novels and fairy tales. A woman of the 2020s, not quite liberated, who, without a man’s gaze, isn’t even sure she exists. In the style of an Annie Ernaux who’s swallowed up Florence Foresti, Chloé Oliveres re-enacts her real and imaginary love affairs, with plenty of self-deprecating humour, a sense of the tragic, a song full of gibberish, a few characters, and quite a bit of lascivious dancing.

Es ist die Geschichte einer Frau am Rande der Midlife-Crisis, die mit Liebesromanen und Märchen aufgewachsen ist. Eine Frau der 2020er Jahre, noch nicht ganz emanzipiert, die ohne den Blick eines Mannes nicht einmal sicher ist, ob sie überhaupt existiert. Ganz im Stil einer Annie Ernaux, die Florence Foresti verschlungen hätte, spielt Chloé Oliveres ihre realen und imaginären Liebesgeschichten nach – mit viel Selbstironie, einem Gespür für das Tragische, einem Joghurt-Lied, einigen Figuren und einer ordentlichen Portion laszivem Tanz.
