Allemand (Allemagne) AMG ist die Entdeckungsband des Jahres für die Redaktionen von Jazz News und Jazz Magazine und Gewinner des Tremplin d'Oloron 2023 (Preis der Jury). Diese junge Pariser Formation schöpft ihre Inspiration aus dem Erbe von Yusef Lateef, McCoy Tyner, Pharoah Sanders oder Abdullah Ibrahim. AMG ist frei und erfinderisch und setzt sich heute auf der nationalen Bühne durch, insbesondere mit ihrem Sieg beim Nationalen Jazzwettbewerb des Festivals La Défense 2025. Ihre Alben AMG Extended, Gate 01 und Live at Sunside wurden von der Kritik hoch gelobt. Beim Tremplin d'Oloron 2023 gewann die Band dank ihres Kontrabassisten auch den Preis für den besten Instrumentalisten.
